Brynn Bonne (Artistic Director/Co-Head Writer)

Brynn Bonne (she/her) could not be more proud to be working on this project with this incredible bunch! She is so happy to craft some laughs with friends she met growing up in the Toronto theatre community, or at the University of Toronto where she is currently studying Theatre and Drama Studies joint with Sheridan College. She has always been a little goofball, doing musicals, plays, improv classes, writing or even just like going to the grocery store, and is so fortunate to be part of somewhere for more little goofballs to be! Cheers to the goofballs!

Beatrice Freedman (Production Manager/Video Editor)

Beatrice Freedman (she/her) is in her fourth (and hopefully final) year at UofT studying archaeology with a double minor in history and near and middle eastern civilizations. Bea has been involved with theatre as a stage manager and director for nearly eight years and is super excited to be working on each instalment of this incredible project. This is her first time in the role of production manager and is loving helping to lead the incredible Quirky Cabaret team. Beatrice’s favourite things include ring pops, spreadsheets, and the colour yellow.

Jess Gordon (Rehearsal Manager)

Jess (she/her) is so grateful to be part of the wonderful Quirky Cabaret team and be able to continue creating theatre during this challenging time. She is in her final year at Sheridan College in their Technical Production for the Performing Arts Industry program. Select past credits in Stage Management include: Pippin, Living The Dream, and Cabaret (Theatre Sheridan), X-Mas: A Very Mutant Musical (Stream Stage Productions), and The Big One-Oh and Next To Normal (Curtain Call Performing Arts Company).

Anthony Palermo (Assistant Producer/

Resident Director)

Anthony Palermo (he/they) is in second year of the UTM/ Sheridan Theatre and Drama Studies program and is a Co-Artistic Director of the English and Drama Society at UTM. Select performance credits include Bare, Ghost Quartet, Essay (UofT), Drama 101: A New Musical (Toronto Fringe), Newsies (Mainstage Theatre). Anthony has also directed Antigone Now (UTM EDSS), ADOMANIA: an immersive digital play (Beck Theatre Creation Festival), and is currently directing Dog Sees God (UTSC Drama Society).

Will Parry (Social Media Manager)

Will Parry (he/him) is super grateful to be working with Quirky Cabaret as social media manager! Will has dabbled in social media management with other theatre companies including Bubble Productions and Malcontent Theatre Company. As a recent graduate of St. Lawrence College's Music Theatre Performance Program, he is primarily a music theatre performer. Some of Will's performance credits include Kevin in Going Under, Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone, Oscar Lindquist in Sweet Charity, and Scuttle in The Little Mermaid (SLC Stage) and Lefou in Beauty and The Beast (Bravo Academy). Sabrina Weinstein (Producer/Resident Director)

Sabrina Weinstein (she/her) is a producer, director and actor finishing her fourth year of study at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Drama Theatre and Performance Studies. She has been working as a producer for the past two years, Executive Producing at The UC Follies Theatre Company, as well as co-founding and producing for Quirky Cabaret. As a director, Sabrina recently directed and produced a filmed adaptation of Joan Macleod’s The Shape of a Girl in association with the Centre for Drama Theatre and Performance Studies at U of T as part of their Director’s Showcase. Favourite acting credits include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, The Chaperone in The Drowsy Chaperone, Imogen in Cymbeline, Jenny in The Theory of Relativity, Chorus in Agamemnon, and Cordelia in a production of Falsettos currently postponed due to the pandemic. She has been producing theatre both in-person and digitally - from brick and mortar theatres and unconventional spaces, to Zoom and Spotify.

Hannah Spracklin (Assistant Production Manager/

Resident Director)

Hannah is a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto double majoring in Theatre Performance and the Philosophy of Religion. She has held a variety of different roles within theatre productions, including acting, directing, stage managing, assistant stage managing, sound and lighting operator, and props master. Some of her recent (performing) credits include Devon in TomorrowLove: Till Skype Do Us Part (CDTPS University of Toronto), Hippolyta and Titania in The Digital Dream (CDTPS), Braidie in The Shape of a Girl (CDTPS), and Margaret in Lady Margaret (SMC Troubadours).

Katie Irvine (Editor/Co-Head Writer)

Katie Irvine (she/her) is so thankful to be a member of the Quirky Cabaret team, and she’s especially grateful for the opportunity to help writers reach their full potential as the company’s Dramaturg! Previous dramaturgical credits include a two-year academic specialization in New Play Dramaturgy at York University, in which she worked alongside developmental dramaturg Judith Rudakoff in shaping the written works of emerging Canadian theatre artists, as well as on projects such as A Friend of Dorothy (playGround Festival), The Ashley Plays, Telling Tales Out of School, and The Red/White Project (York University Theatre Department). When she’s not poring over scripts or furiously typing feedback into Track Changes, Katie also loves to be onstage, with over a decade of musical theatre performance already under her belt and many more years to come!
